Privacy & Security

Last updated: 2026-06-09

Patoshi is a community-led project on the Solana network. We deliberately keep the personal information we collect minimal and we never sell it. This notice explains what we do collect, why, and how we protect it.

What we collect

  • Email address if you sign up via email.
  • Telegram ID, username, first/last name, avatar URL if you sign in with Telegram.
  • Wallet public address you optionally link from My Account.
  • Pre-sale declarations you submit (amount, transaction reference, optional notes).
  • Quest submissions, DAO answers, forum messages, community DM content you create.
  • Server logs containing IP address and user-agent, retained for fraud prevention.

What we do not collect

We never request your seed phrase, your private keys, or signed transactions. We do not perform on-chain identity profiling beyond storing the public address you link. We do not run advertising pixels or third-party trackers by default.

Why we process it

  • To run your account and your sessions (legitimate interest, contract).
  • To validate pre-sale and quest submissions before approving rewards.
  • To deliver airdrops, pre-sale tokens, and NFT or market shipments.
  • To moderate community spaces and prevent abuse.
  • To comply with applicable laws in jurisdictions where Patoshi members reside.

Security

  • Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes only, never in clear text.
  • Sessions live in HTTP-only cookies signed with iron-session.
  • Wallet linking requires a SIWE-style signed message; no transaction is requested.
  • Production secrets live in environment variables outside the repository.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, export, correct, or delete your data at any time by writing to info@patoshi.meme. As a community project we do not maintain a corporate DPO; community moderators handle such requests within a reasonable timeframe.
