Cookies Policy

Last updated: 2026-06-09

This Cookies Policy explains how the Patoshi community-run website (“Patoshi”, “we”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies. It is structured to align with international Consent Management Platform (CMP) standards including the EU GDPR/ePrivacy Directive, the UK PECR, the California CCPA/CPRA, and the IAB TCF v2.2 categorisation.

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit our site. They help the website work, remember your preferences, and let us understand how the site is being used. Some technologies (local storage, session storage, fingerprint-resistant identifiers) behave similarly and are covered by this policy.

2. Categories of cookies we use

  • Strictly necessary — login session, anti-CSRF, language preference. Always on.
  • Functional — remember the last DAO tab you opened, dismissed banners, theme settings.
  • Analytics — anonymous usage telemetry to improve the product. Optional.
  • Marketing — currently none. We do not run ad-tracking pixels.

3. Your choices

On your first visit, our consent banner asks you to accept all cookies or reject optional ones. You can change your decision any time by clearing the patoshi_cookie_consent_v1 entry in your browser’s local storage, or by using the Manage link in the banner.

4. Third-party providers

The Telegram login widget loads from telegram.org only when you open the login modal and select Telegram. The Phantom wallet connector runs entirely in your browser. We do not embed Google Analytics, Meta pixel, or similar trackers by default.

5. International transfers

Strictly necessary cookies stay on your device and are sent only to Patoshi’s own servers. If you opt-in to analytics in the future, a notice will explain where the data flows and which Standard Contractual Clauses apply.
